This series is so sweet. If you like "Say I Love You" or "Hiyori" then you will like this series. What I loved is how supportive the guy is and how he helped her overcome her insecurities. Like for example, she doesn't wear a hair clip cause she thinks it's cute (and boys tease her about how she is not cute and too thin and small), so it won't look good on her. So the lead guy wears her clip, since she's not going to (an act done to show her she can wear whatever she wants, who cares what people say), then later he gives the clip back to her cause it looks cuter on her. And she decides to start wearing it cause she really wants to. I thought that was a pretty great call out for how someone can help someone who is being bullied.I've read all four books currently out for this series, and their relationship develops realistically. They have a really sweet romance. It is a slow burn romance, which I also like. They're just getting together in book 4. I would totally recommend this story to all you romantics out there or anyone looking for a cute and clean romance. Very cliche. Girl bullied, average looking, whines about her appearance and peers picking on her. Falls in love with popular boy and his friendship starts to change her attitude for the better. She needs to "change" or accept herself for who she is, not because of some guy but for herself. Okay storyline, not anything I haven't read before.
